Hyvää joulua!

I probably won`t be here until January 2007 so merry christmas and happy new year everybody!

playing with dolls

...That`s what I`ve been doing.

The Ghost Collector

This is a page from previous package I did with american writer Justin Jordan. We are still waiting a response from a couple of US publishers... Although I am starting to believe we didn`t get the greenlight with this one. Shit. Damn. The story is great!

...from the Beach

Another page from the same package.

It`s my birthday today and I`m feelin tired.

Beach 4.0

Sorry I`ve been away for so long but all kinds of shit have happened meanwhile.

However here is the possible cover for the story.

Beach 4.0 is a dark gothic (as you can imagine) story about vengeance, lost love and ghosts of the yesterday written by Christian Westerlund and illustrated by moi.

Horror said Brando

Still working with the same sample pages (second pitch). Took a little longer than I had thought because of the atmosphere that is totally different from the first one. Adapting you know...

Ghosts of the children

A detail from a pitch I`m illustrating right now...

Toy army T-shirt

The Unitceller T-shirt final design by Juuso Semi.
Character design from left to right: Ville Löppönen, Juuso Semi, and me.

What I`ve been doing...

I`m in a middle of illustrating two pitches for american publishers. So I will be busy for next couple of weeks...

The Wounded Angel

After Hugo Simberg`s great painting.

Woods

Somewhere in the deep woods of Finland. The Farm.

HAHAA. Love to play with these ideas: Wandering in a forest surrounding the farm that Devil visited.

Carnage unfathomable

It’s not over until the fat lady sings

Gaslights 2

The protagonist encounters the empty streets
of a little town.

Gaslights

First page to a comic called "Gaslights". What happens? The protagonist has been married for seven years. He sleeps with his wife Anna. When he wokes up something is totally wrong. The woman next to his is called Anna but she is not the one he has been married to.

another farm pic

Really don`t know where the hell these come from...

I guess subconsciously I`m planning to do a horrorcomic ...or something weird anyway. But it happens on a farm! Partly.

Juggernaut!

That old panhead is so cool and so unstoppable.

More Marvel

Changed the settings so now you can comment my stuff. So please do it!

Frank

The Punisher. One of my favorite characters from the Marvel universe. It seems to be FUN to draw men with blazing guns again!

Of course war and shooting other people is the dumbest thing we can possibly do. Watched yesterday this film called "Joyeux Noel - Merry Christmas". A pasifistic film about first world war which shows that art can really change things.
