The Helsinki Comic Festival 2

Got the first price (5000 euros) from the competition. The jury`s argument for my work was as follows: "Rohkea aihevalinta, viittaa suomalaiseen taiteeseen ja historiaan. Haasteelliset limitetyt aikatasot. Vahva aloitusrepliikki, komea toteutus. Tarttuu voimakkaasti aiheeseen, ja näyttävä kuvallinen esitys." For those abroad I`m saying that these were pretty encouraging words. Now you can at least think: "what the fuck is this language they are mumbling at the country where the icebears walk the streets". They don`t.

The Helsinki Comic Festival

The Helsinki Comic Festival will take place on the 15th and 16th of September which means next weekend! So if you happen to be here, you must be there! I`ll be on stage at Sunday some point between 12.15-12.45pm when the winners of the comic competition (check older posts for details) are announced. Also the competition comic book "5 fantasiaa" or"5 fantasies" will be published (includes "Pelastus ja Anteeksianto" by me). Be there and say hello to me!
