Tattoo

Another tattoo designed. Other than this I`ve been drawing the full color Deadworld as some of you know. And it is quite easy to say, even now, that it is going to be the best comic so far by me. It is both full color and horror and I`m really trying to do my best with it. I`ll upload one or two of the newest pages here soon.

Update: It`s now third time that I took this image further. It`s now changed quite a bit from the first version. Just wasn`t happy with it. And am still not. So it may still change. Be patient.

Deadworld Omnibus

DEADWORLD OMNIBUS is now in stores. It was scheduled for the end of the month but it's in stores as of today. Featuring the collections of Deadworld: Requiem for the World (Image), Deadworld: Frozen Over (Desperado), and Deadworld: Slaughterhouse (Desperado), the book is over 300 pages and contains all of the "newest" version of Deadworld. A very thick book with 13 issues worth of pages. for only $12.95 and a GREAT spot to get into the DEADWORLD.

Watched Friday the 13th. extended cut (2009). I was a big fan of the original movie series back when I was like 16 and have most of them on VHS tape (they have made a total of 11 films plus this new one if I remember it correctly). Jason Voorhees is more iconic than Michael Myers; the hockey mask really does the job. And yes; I still have something like 300 VHS tapes I never carried to dumpster.

HELLsinki freezes over

Not Siberia. Helsinki this evening. We have more snow than anywhere in Finland. Used to be the other way round. Over 50 cm. at this moment. Over 70 car crashes today.

Chaos AD.

Finished part eight of The Pacific -tv series and took a look at my desk. And the first thing that comes to my mind is the battlefields of Iwo Jima. Will finish my cup of coffee now and start filling more of them papers. But I will not clean the desk. No. I will end up living amongst my scribbles in a mad scientist way.

Deadworld Omnibus

IDW and Desperado are releasing the DEADWORLD OMNIBUS for January release. It collects Requiem for the World (Image) and Frozen Over and Slaughterhouse (which was only in hardcover)...264 pages for only $19.99. This is where Deadworld was sort of rebooted so fans could join right in and not have to deal with the 50 previous issues of continuity. Diamond order #NOV10400...make sure you tell your store you want a copy so they'll be sure to order it. Also, here is an interview Gary Reed did that discusses it a bit more.
