Some of you may know that I was telling you about one little vacation book I started a while ago. Well here is one page from it. Yep, another one in Deadworld graphic novel series. No real deadline as I`m doing it beside the next Hatter M. volume but you`ll see it coming.

Vacation

Officially I`m now on vacation as I just finished illustrating Hatter M. vol. 3 Nature of Wonder. But what I did? I started writing a script so there goes the vacation... But it`s actually fun to write: It`s been long time since I wrote anything fictional seriously. And it`s very didactic to watch this from the writers point of view for a change.

Here is one colored Slaughterhouse page for you just to see. I once thought that we should color the whole book. Even if it will never happen, you can now compare this colored page to the black&white one in published graphic novel. If you own one.

Outside of a few printing snafus which are not major, the book looks really nice. Sami did such a fantastic job with the art that it overwhelms any printing deficiencies. It should be in comic shops any day now."

Collection album cover

Did these paintings (yes they are pretty much photoshop) of Anssi Kela collection album. The album contains a studio- and live CD and that was the starting point of using two different portrait paintings. Risto Vauras took the photo.

Not Dead

...just been busy as usual. Illustrating Hatter M pages at the moment. It seems that 2010 begins nicely for me. Lots of stuff to do. Hatter, CD -projects for different artist and what else? Possibly a participation to one cool art book, if I have time for it, but more about that later.
